I will address the power level thing first. It's very much like the system of TNF, and that is very unlikely to work on a bleach site. Its to unappealing... So maybe you could try the system other bleach sites used, or the numbered stat system from the Yu Yu Hakusho Manga. That would be my favorite idea and I could go into detail and examples if you like. The reason for this idea is that, shinigami's power varies to much, in that world nobody is truly equal, and the weak can sometimes overcome the strong. So a numbered system that does not carry a extreme amount of weight may be a good way to test things out, and we could always change the stat system later.

They Template can use some work, maybe I could show the template from the bleach rp I attempted to make at some point.

okay, its all rather simple, I have two ideas for the power grading system, one is based off the many other bleach sites and the other based off of a idea from a tv show lol.

Stats system #1: Tier system: This is the most commonly seen form of Stats used in bleach, the Tier System. Its effective in keeping people from power playing but its big flaw is that allows people to train and train and rank up quickly. Its hard to grade properly and often leads to quick advancement, if handling more than one character or not. So sites to often end up changing the system because the end result is often to many captain level characters, to many God level Characters, and to much OP blowing the world to bits style bull shit.

Beginner Level: Weak/Average/Exalted/Strong [SL- W/ A/E/S]

BL-W: Your normal run of the meal human being with little to no connection to the spiritual world. Can't sense, see, or feel spirits around themselves at all.

BL-A: At this point one has a eye for the supernatural, often having the ability to see, and interact with spirits, although they tend to have no power.

BL-E: The basic level, this is where spiritual power awakens, this is the power level where any spiritually aware human's training starts, weather they be Qunicy, Bount, Fullbringer, or otherwise. This is also the level of your average first year and second year Shinigami academy student.

BL-S: The level of your average 3rd and 4th year academy student, as well a Human who is just awakening their own unique powers.

Low Level:Weak/Average/Exalted/Strong [LL-W / A /E / S] The basic of all spiritual beings, this is the level of most unseated members of the Getei 13 and lesser hollows and Qunicy alike.

LL-W: Your freshly created grunt hollow, Qunicy trainee, or 5th or 6th year shinigami. This also tends to be the base of your average Human with awakened spiritual powers.

LL-A: These characters are most often noobie shinigami and or students in their final years as shinigami. Hollows at this level is most common, simple because they tend to lack intelligence and is driven by the instinct to hunt. Humans start to gain deeper understanding of their powers at this point.

LL-E: This is the Standard level of any Shinigami, and should be treated as such. This is also the level where a Hollow begins to think and act intelligently.

LL-S: At this point a Human would have a fine idea of the shape their power is meant to take. While most Shinigami would have the ability to speak with their weapons at this point; more over, hollows would have grown a interest in eating their own kind.

Middle Level: Weak/Average/Exalted/ Strong [ML-W / A / E/ S]
This will be the most common seen Level, it's the average, at this point shinigami should have their first release, power differences are the biggest on this level. Most humans who reach this level has fully realized their power.


ML-W: This is the level most commonly seen by Shinigami who have just awakened their Zanpakuto and gained a low officer position , and Grunt class Hollow who has managed to reach a freakish power level for a average hollow. At this point the Hollow grows to desire Hollows and only hollows for a meal, often leading to a Gillian transformation rather quickly.

ML-A: This is the level of a Gillian class hollow, and a Shinigami who is on the road to mastery of the Zanpakuto and holds a somewhat high seat on the Getei 13. Many humans reach this level, but at a much slower rate than any shinigami or Hollow.

ML-E: A level not so commonly seen in humans, the best of the race tends to reach this point if even that. Shinigami at this level are rather strong and advanced users of Zanjutsu. They most often hold high seated positions and some even hold positions of Vice- Captain. Hollows of this level are Adjuchas class and must keep consuming souls inorder to not turn back into a Gillian. Most Humans at this level are thought of as champions for their race at this point.

ML-S: A power house of any group, although not the primary leaders they tend to maintain a pretty large gap over other ML level enemies. These are the Vice-Captains and Shikai Masters of the shinigami. As well as the strongest of the Adjuchas who are close to exalting their power to that next super rare grade.

High Level: Weak/Average/Exalted/ Strong [HL-W / A /E / S]
This is commonly known as the Captain level, this is an strong level that the stronger characters will be graded with, like the members of the Espada and Gotei 13 captains It is very rare if any other then a Shinigami, Vizard or Arrancar is graded this level. This is the Vasto level for Hollows. Any Human who makes their way into this level is considered Legends of their race, beings far Exalted above and beyond the rest.

Almighty Level: Weak/Average/Exalted/Strong [AL-W / A / E / S]
A character at this level is very rare, beyond your average captain or Espada, only 0-4 is expected to be in this Tier among all Hollow and Arrancar kind. The very best and most experienced and gifted members of the Getei reach this level over the course of 100's of years. Very few humans are known to hold this level of power, for must human bodies would never hope to contain such raw energy. Even most Vasto could never hope to gain power into this level, often proving to much even for them. A being of this level could over power at least two HL tier fighters without the use of their full powers.

Deity Level: Weak/Average/Exalted/Strong [DL-W / A / E / S]
This is the level that almost nobody will EVER reach. The being at this level will always fall into a position of leadership. This is the level of the Spirit King of HUECO MUNDO and the Captain Commander of SOUL SOCIETY. It is nearly completely impossible for anything outside of a Shinigami,Vizard, or Arrancar without a Segunda Resurrección to achieve this level of overwhelming power, for most other beings would self destruct trying to contain such spiritual energy.

Stat System #2: Numbered Statistics: This is my personal favorite since the idea comes from a show called Yu-Yu-Hakasho, and it is rather effective is modded competently. It has set averages for each type of character's rank and surpassing those expectations are often accepted. Then doing it the way a EXP system works the stat increase does not seem as major at higher levels. So they higher the numbers rise the smaller the gap seems to be.
FOR EXAMPLE: Shinigami with Total Spiritual Power: 4562 V.S. Hollow with Total Spiritual Power: 8198
The hollow has a advantage right? Yet the advantage will not lock in a victory, for dispute the difference the Shinigami could still pull out a victory if he plays his/her cards right, But wait they are still both rather weak, so how about this next one!

Shinigami Captain with Total Spiritual Power: 1,612,000 V.S. Vasto Lorde with Total Spiritual Power: 1,322,000 Big gap clearly in favor of the Shinigami Captain right? Well Wrong! With two powers so high, so off the charts the gaps in power become smaller and more compressed, so the Battle would still be fairly even.

Although that does not mean a TSP of 8,219 would have a chance fighting a TSP of 1,322,000 no no no, that would end extremely bad for the 8,219 TSP fighter. Then the best thing about this, when to many fighters, IF to many fighters advance pass the set averages we can readjust the averages to re balance everything! So let me show you a bit of what this would look like.

RSP(Reiatsu/Spiritual Pressure): is the physical force/pressure that a person’s Reiryoku creates when released. Spiritual pressure can effect a battle in a few ways the rpcs psychical abilities such as strength, speed and their stamina. Most people are terrified of people with an extremely high spiritual pressure, as they are usually very powerful. A being with Vast amounts of Spiritual pressure can turn this physical energy into a form of defense and in some cases assault.

How will we increase this stat?: Training, fighting, sparring, and Passive abilities that power this up. To increase ones statistics in RSP they must make use of Swords play, Hoho techniques, and Hand to hand combat. This stat is the spirit energy made physical and as such pushing ones self physically is the best way to improve the stat. Work on learning and using Hoho, Swords play, and Hand to hand skills to increase this quickly.

OP(Offensive Power): Basically the RPC's offensive abilities. This is governed by how offensive the RPC is in battle and how offensive his/her skills. Is your character actively aggressive; attacking? Do they take the initiative by beginning to attack or act aggressively? That decides the number on this stat most often.

How do I increase this stat?: TRAIN! Focus on offensive tactics, So any offensive technique will do, as well as lots of sparring and battles. Offensive is rather easy to increase since it increases based on how aggressively the character is played.

RSA(Reiryoku/Spiritual ability): is a power aligned with the spiritual sensitivity and willpower of the user. It is used by Shinigami/Hollow/Quincy to provide power for their various feats and to effectively channel their powers. It can also be used to cast Kidō, magic spells created by the Shinigami. Reiryoku can even be coalesced into a physical form and thrown or shot as a projectile as the Quincy do. Reiryoku can also be used to power Hollows abilities. Spiritual humans can control this power as well. Learning to control this power weather it be in ones self or the atmosphere is a must. This stat is dictated by the use of Kido/Hollow Tech/Qunicy Tech/ Full Bringer Tech/Doll Tech, Special techniques/Unique abilities/Ginto, and Zanjutsu/Resurrección/Segunda Resurrección/Doll Release/Quincy evolution/Full Bringing.

How do I Increase this stat?: Train! Focus on Kido/Hollow Tech/Qunicy Tech/ Full Bringer Tech/Doll Tech, Special techniques/Unique abilities/Ginto, and Zanjutsu/Resurrección/Segunda Resurrección/Doll Release/Quincy evolution/Full Bringing.

DP(Defensive Power): This stat is dictated by Defensive skills.Basically the RPC's offensive abilities. This is governed by how offensive the RPC is protecting himself/herself in battle and how Defensive his/her skills.

How will I increase this skill?: Train long and hard, and take advantage of defensive abilities as often as possible, and make sure you take the time to learn defensive skills and apply them. A defensive fighting style helps also.

I will also be posting my idea for the leveling system right now. I Think we should use the training points system. It works as shown below! You gain new abilities by buying them with points gained from training, instead of training a set amount of post for just one ability... So below explains how this would work!

• The RPC gains 10 points at the end of the thread for every 5 post of training/sparing/combat. If the post are mediocre or the training does not last 5 post then no points are gained.
  
• A set amount of points is gained by taking part in plots and story lines.

Alright the first system, explain to me how that one works. Yes i get the leveling, but HOW do you advance to the next level? I would like some details on that one.

Also I like the second system but it seems like we'd have to moderate EVERY thread the rpc is in...am i correct? or would they just post it in the training section?

Well the leveling works in a pretty simple way. Training threads, spars, and death matches all contribute to the leveling, but so does buying new skills. The mod decides based on the rper's skill if the rpc being trained has completed a fair amount of training for the rank up. It should be harder to improve the higher the RPC's level gets the more difficult ranking up should become. By the time a RPC is at HL ranks great quality post should be expected, as well as a lot of new abilities and training threads to rank up. But the flaw is that if somebody just buckles down and makes lots of solo training threads they can rank up very quickly with little to no character development.

Now to the second... Nope, every thread will not need moderation, it would be posted in the training thread. They would simply have to post a list of training,spars, and fights. From that list a mod judges the quality, quantity, and entertainment factor of these threads by skimming though them. Then after we feel we have seen all we need we judge them and increase the characters stats by what we feel they deserve. Oh and we would also have to put a limit on how often they can level up, maybe one stat increase allowed every 18 days? Like wait 18 days after your last increase to do it again.

I can live with that for the second, and I don't want people speed leveling. So now the second has my support more so than the first. ^^ So judging by this whats the proper power level of Seated officers, Lietenants, and Captains for the second one? What should we expect from those we put in power? what power level would one be able to awaken their shikai?

Alright those averages actually seem quite fair, and nice. ^^ It seems that with being able to post up trainings only once every 18 days it might take a long time to reach captain level, so i'm taking it as they can post up as much training as they can muster in those 18 days correct? Trying to make sure i've got all this right. And the amount we give them on each skill is based on what we see those particular areas? I'm trying to make sure I know all the facts.

Chat boxes make things much easier, when you need to quickly contact a member you can check the chat box and not be forced to make a post in a thread and wait for somebody to take the time and check the thread then post. Its just better for social stuff, makes a stronger since of community when you can just scroll down and chat with your fellow writers when your not doing anything. Chat threads she be saved for more private or personalized conversation and plot planning. And I will need admin power at least for a while to do what I need for this site. I also think we should consider re-making the sites character template. I will post my idea for how I feel it should look in here as well.
